During the course of treatment, the medicines are tapered and gradually Ayurvedic therapies, like Virechana and Dhara, are administered, followed by medications. Symptomatically, the patients feel very much better and well-being is obtained. In some instances we adopt some external therapies to reduce certain symptoms like neuritis.
In obesity, Rooksha Sweda, Virechana and Basti lines of treatment are done depending upon the conditions, followed by internal medications. Similarly the other metabolic and hormonal diseases are managed by Panchakarma therapies, Yoga and simple medications.
